1. Overview
TreasureBoat is proprietary software developed and owned by TreasureBoat (the “Vendor”). These terms govern your use of the TreasureBoat framework, the TreasureBoat Coding Tools plugin for IntelliJ-based IDEs (the “Plugin”), and related tools and services. By downloading, installing or using the Plugin or framework, you agree to these terms.
2. License & TreasureBoat ID
TreasureBoat is licensed, not sold. Full use of the framework and Plugin requires a valid TreasureBoat ID and an associated license issued by the Vendor. Your license is personal to you (or your organisation) and may not be shared, sublicensed, resold or transferred without the Vendor’s written consent.
Different editions may grant different capabilities. The edition and scope of your license are determined by the license associated with your TreasureBoat ID.
3. The IntelliJ plugin
The Plugin is distributed free of charge via the JetBrains Marketplace. It requires a TreasureBoat ID to unlock its full functionality; without a valid license, some features are limited. Installing the Plugin does not grant a license to the TreasureBoat framework itself.
4. Free trial
A free trial license may be made available so you can evaluate TreasureBoat and the Plugin. Trial licenses are provided for evaluation and development purposes and may be time-limited or otherwise scoped at the Vendor’s discretion. To request a trial, contact the Vendor at office@treasureboat.org.
5. Intellectual property
TreasureBoat, the Plugin, their source code, trademarks, and all associated intellectual property are and remain the exclusive property of the Vendor. Except for the limited rights expressly granted by your license, no rights are transferred to you. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Plugin except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
6. Disclaimer of warranty
The Plugin and framework are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the software at your own risk.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Vendor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or business, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Plugin or framework.
8. Changes
The Vendor may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Plugin or framework after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The current version is always available at this page.
